EducationThe People’s Theatre Company works extensively in education running after school drama clubs, programming tailor made drama workshops, and providing PPA cover and free education packs for schools. As a not for profit organisation it is important to the PTC to be accessibly priced but rest assured that our staffing standards are exacting. All PTC staff are trained, CRB checked and covered by Public Liability Insurance up to £5 million. In addition the PTC has a strict child protection policy which ensures that all staff comply with the legal and moral requirements of caring for the young and vulnerable.
Schools and education are very important to The People’s Theatre Company. All our children’s productions are accompanied by free education packs which can be used by teachers in tandem with a visit to see one of our shows or in isolation without having to have seen or ever come to see anything. All education packs cover national curriculum subjects including PHSE and of course drama.
